Phew! Farringdon’s still open (but you might want to use City Thameslink instead)

Farringdon station is being transformed, chiefly so it can take 50% longer Thameslink route trains giving you more chance of a seat. Read more


 

No cross-London trains most weekends and late evenings

Brace yourself: from December 2008 and through 2009, there will be no cross-London Thameslink route service between London Bridge / Herne Hill and St Pancras International from 10.30pm to 4.30am, Mondays to Fridays, and during most weekends. Read more


 

Take a deep breath. We can’t stop at Barbican and Moorgate any more

We know this will be a shock but from 22 March 2009, First Capital Connect Thameslink route trains will permanently stop serving Barbican and Moorgate stations. Great Northern services are unaffected and will continue to call at Moorgate. Read more


 

It's all change at London Blackfriars!

You won’t be able to catch the Tube into or out of Blackfriars. Read more
