First Capital Connect has successfully implemented the new Key Output 0 timetable.
New routes have been established between Southeastern Railways destinations in south-east London and Kent and FCC stations north of Blackfriars.
On Monday, 23 March, the Thameslink Route achieved a good public performance measure of 90.60% (the percentage of all trains arriving within five minutes of their scheduled arrival time).
The branch line from Farringdon to Moorgate has closed to passenger service and platforms 1-3 at Blackfriars are now closed and the track has already been pulled up, with all services running through platforms 4 and 5:

Southern Class 377-2 Electrostars have been used to help operate the timetable; here is one at Farringdon under the new footbridge that was also brought into operation in time:

... and a new aditional exit was successfully opened to Paul's Walk at Blackfriars:

Friday night's final run at Moorgate was also celebrated in style with over 250 enthusiasts turning out to ride the 19.54 to Kentish Town. First Capital Connect raised over £700 for charity Railway Children:
