Elstree & Borehamwood's new platforms take shape

The first pre-cast section for the platform extensions at Elstree & Borehamwood has been completed in the Herring factory in Germany.

The platform sections will be delivered and installed over the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, 19 and 20 March for which First Capital Connect will have to close the main station car park, from 8pm the previous Friday night.

However, premier bays in front of the station will be temporarily declassified creating more than enough space for the number of motorists who usually park at the weekend.
