Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR), which manages Thameslink, Southern and Great Northern routes, is introducing a new fixed interim timetable on Sunday 15 July 2018.

It will prioritise peak travel across the south east, to ensure people get a more reliable service.

The interim timetable follows disruption after the introduction of the May 2018 timetable, the largest change in recent railway history. From Sunday 15 July there will be more capacity for passengers than before May 2018.

GTR is continuing to work closely with Network Rail and the Department for Transport to improve journeys for passengers.

Looking ahead

New routes, services and destinations will now be introduced more gradually over the next few timetable changes. This approach will help smooth their introduction and maintain a reliable service for passengers.
