Planned roadshows and conferences gave Thameslink Programme leaders the opportunity to set the tone for the workforce’s approach towards Health & Safety.

Supplier Conferences & Roadshows

Directors, project managers and Health & Safety professionals from over 50 different organisations attended these conferences for Network Rail and its suppliers. The events focused on varying, diverse issues including:

  • Client and supplier perspectives towards Health & Safety challenges and opportunities
  • Mental wellbeing, stress and health assessments
  • Manual handling
  • Drive awareness
  • Plant demonstrations
  • PPE showcases.

Directors Health & Safety Steering Group

This was the focal Health & Safety meeting for Thameslink Programme, making strategic Health & Safety improvements. It aimed to achieve two-way communications from clients and suppliers on Health & Safety matters while sharing best practice and lessons learnt.
